C.A.R.E 2019

Since 2009, the Corpus Christi Firefighters C.A.R.E. (Cancer Awareness Relief Effort) Fund has donated over $550,000 locally to help fight this terrible disease.

About C.A.R.E.

Corpus Christi Firefighters C.A.R.E. (Cancer Awareness and Relief Efforts) is a 501(c)(3) organization that was created by a group of Corpus Christi Firefighters in 2009. In the last eight years we have donated over $500,000.

Who Benefits?

The American Cancer Society, First Friday, Driscoll Children’s Hospital and other charitable foundations have benefitted from our donations as well as a fund that was set up for area firefighters that are fighting cancer.

How they C.A.R.E.

C.A.R.E. money is raised solely by the sale of our t-shirts, caps and bracelets. We introduced our “Pink” fire truck in 2013 to help us in our battle. The general public is encouraged to purchase their C.A.R.E. shirts. C.A.R.E. T-Shirts are selling for $15.00 each – sizes Small through X-Large and $20.00 for the XX-Large through XXXX- Large sizes.

You Can C.A.R.E.

T-Shirts range from $10-$25 and may be purchased at the C.A.R.E. office located at 6014 Ayers St. from Monday through Friday from 8am – 5pm.
